Xr1000 stuck in recovery loop after changing the admin password

Basically as titles states. I didn't have any issues till the router crashed out last night for whatever reason. Rebooted it and things went haywire and I'm stuck with the default password or I can't get back into the dumaos with out being stuck in a recovery loop. 

Yes I've tried all the little tricks the previous people that used to try and fix it. But it only happens if I change the default admin password.

Also I'm not sure if this was before or not but the default wifi settings are unsecured and you have to manually go in and set passwords. That's slightly concerning.

Keep the password the default and then change it in settings rather than in the wizard. Reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and see if you can get in
