TalonRahl
Hello, I followed the instructions to update to the most recent beta for the xr500. Had to update to intermediate firmware then to most recent firmware. Worked fine. I was changing around some settings and I was getting packet loss and other things I hadn’t experienced before. So I decided to do a factory reset through the website interface. Waited for ten minutes for it to finish only for it to now simply display “dumaOS is not running”. Unplugged the router from power and let sit for 10 minutes then plugged back in. Waited 5 min then hit factory reset on the back. Tried two browsers. Still nothing. No idea what happened but pretty sure I now find myself with a completely bricked nighthawk. please help
Fairypusher
You need a second router.... You must the XR500 WAN Port connect to a second Router LAN Port. routerlogin.net/adv_index.htm 192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 03:17 PM Administrators Share Posted Friday at 03:17 PM Use the address from above (192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm) to re-upload the firmware again and let it go through the process, close the tab wait 4 minutes then access and see if it loads correctly please
