Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 6 Administrators Share Posted March 6 What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R2? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? Where are you testing the speeds? Thrry
Thrry
its a ont from kinetic i dont have it in bridge mode both stream and gaming pcs are hooked up the speeds i pay for are 750 and 750 up ive enter the speeds on the router i dont know what congestion control is and i playing via ethernet ive set up the geo before speed test vray from 100 to
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10 Administrators Share Posted March 10 Does the kinetic ont have WiFi that other deviceds are connected to? Congestion Control is in Ping Optimizer > Advanced How have you setup the Geo-Filter exactly? Thrry

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 11 Administrators Share Posted March 11 We don't do that kind of support. Are you using PPPoE/VLAN at all?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 13 Administrators Share Posted March 13 When did the issue start to occur, after changing settings, updating, changing your physical setup etc?
Thrry
It started like 3 days after I got the r2 setup im not sure what to or how to tell if its the r2 going bad I have the monitoring on so someone could look at it in troubleshoooting but idk
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 13 Administrators Share Posted March 13 So it happened after upgrading to DumaOS 4? Also how do you have that firmware as you haven't been added to the Early Access section. If you downgrade to the latest public version do you get the same issues?
Thrry
Not sure how I have it I literally plugged it in and set it up and I was on duma 4.0 it was used I don’t think that matters though but I have no idea duma os 4 is the only version I’ve had
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 14 Administrators Share Posted March 14 Are you primarily using the app? If so that doesn't necessarily mean you're on DumaOS 4 and it's unlikely that you are. I have given you Early Access though so you can try the firmware to see if it works better for you. https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 14 Administrators Share Posted March 14 It does yes, I assume that means you bought it second hand then! Could you grab the logs from Settings > Troubleshooting when you encounter a disconnect please?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15 Administrators Share Posted March 15 Thanks for that, does it disconnect every 2.5 days approximately? Does the connection restore itself? If not how long are you waiting before rebooting to restore it?
Thrry
it does it a once a day but also my speeds are wayy slower like yesterday i went to upload my vid and like 8 hours later it wasnt done and i did a speed test and it said my upload was 15 on speedtest.net
Thrry
It usallly restores itself but my main issue is my speeds and lag spikes
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15 Administrators Share Posted March 15 The disconnect I think is because your public IP is renewing itself, if you unplug your main modem for 10 minutes very late at night/at a time where if it disconnected it wouldn't affect you then it may prevent it happening for a little while longer, otherwise you may want to consider getting a static public IP from your ISP. Do the speeds/lag spikes occur after a disconnect usually?
Thrry
My slow speeds are at all times and the lag happens random in game like every game
