Collegamento R3 con ISP router

Ciao a tutti, mi è da poco arrivati il Netduma R3 e vorrei sapere come collegare quest'ultimo al modem /router del mio ISP.  Vorrei avere una connessione pppoe tra i due dispositivi in modo tale che il modem /router del mio provider funzioni solo da modem ed il Netduma R3 gestisca tutta la parte router.  Cosa devo disattivare nel modem /router del mio provider e quali sono i passaggi da fare senza incorrere in doppio nat o altri problemi??  Grazie!!

The above may help but essentially have your modem in bridge mode and enter the PPPoE details into the R3

Just a quick clarification because I’m not so good with routers setup: what do you mean with “bridge mode”? Should we to deactivate some particular options in the ISP modem?

Thanks for your support, I’m new with the “Netduma World”.

Your ISP modem/router depending on what it is (if it is a pure modem i.e. has no WiFi then this can be ignored, you would just connect the R3, enter PPPoE and that's it) but it will likely have a mode called bridge mode which will essentially disable most of the modem functions and pass all traffic through to the R3

Ciao e grazie, si l'ho già vista questa guida ma non specifica cosa disabilitare nel router Tim.  Io ho una Fttc 100/20 Tim e non sono riuscito a collegare il Netduma R3 in pppoe, si collega solo tramite dhcp.  Quello che vorrei è rendere il router Tim "trasparente" che funzioni solo da modem così da far gestire la parte router solo al Netduma.

It should just have a bridge/modem mode that you enable on the Tim and then you can enter the PPPoE details into the R3. Then reboot the tim, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3 wait 4 minutes and check if you have internet

You don't need to put a device in the DMZ on the R3 for the moment
