Jenneer
Hello, Been using my R3 since October and all games have been working well and geo-filter has been functioning as it should on my PC and consoles. However, VF5 matches me with opponents that are way outside my ping range. For example, I have it set to 80 ping and it matches me with players that show 120+ in game. What's odd is in the phone app I see a connection that is within my range but the game is saying that it is way out of my range and the game is performing poorly as expected. Any ideas on what could be happening?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 30 Administrators Share Posted January 30 Using Ping Assist there is always the potential that you'll get games above that value so would be better to use the radius if you want to force specific servers. It could be mislocated on the map, in which case if you provide the ID for it we can check and move it if necessary.
Jenneer
I'll mess with my distance setting. Currently I have set to the lowest with just using ping assist. How do I check the ID?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 30 Administrators Share Posted January 30 Click the server in the ping window and it will show you more details including the ID
Jenneer
Do servers usually show up for example, as HGJKAL? Other connection I see in the app show the city name. I am not if this game has servers since it is peer to peer. I have adjusted my distance with ping assist things seem to be better.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 2 Administrators Share Posted February 2 That's a local IP address so likely another device you have connected, are you trying to matchmake against yourself/another device at home?
Jenneer
That was the first item that showed when I started match making. I'll monitor it some more and report. Netduma Fraser
