Which one to purchase?

I apologise in advance for what feels like summoning Fraser multiple times this weekend. Almost hope you don't answer until Monday and have a rest haha 

 

After buying an as new R2 that unfortunately didn't work, I think in going to go for a nighthawk to meet my needs. Found an xr500 and 700 at reasonable prices.

 

I'm looking to connect this to my current router and only have my ps5 connected to the gaming router running the geofilter on duma and a hybrid VPN. 

The router will be about 2ft from my ps and I will connect via WiFi.

 

Which one would suit me best? I'm a mild layman when it comes to this stuff.

Haha no worries at all! I will be honest those routers will not be really getting any new feature updates so if you want something that is more current and will continue to see new features I'd go with the R3 really.

If you'd still like to go with an XR then the XR500 would be the best option there

Appreciate the heads up! For what I'm looking for, I think that'll do fine. Only really need the geo fencing and hybrid vpn. 

Not quite ready to shell out the price for the r3 (or rather justify that to the mrs haha).

That's totally understandable, for what you want it for the XR500 is the best choice!
