nickskep
Hello, I have a Netduma R2 and when I enable IPV6 I get bufferbloat and lower speeds. My speed is normally 300/300 and when I enable IPV6 i get around 100/100. i also notice web browsing is slower when using IPV6. Any known issues around this and or preferred settings that can be provided to run IPV6 optimally? Thanks.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 10:40 PM Administrators Share Posted Thursday at 10:40 PM What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Where are you testing the speeds exactly? Do you have the Adblocker enabled on the R2?
nickskep
Hi Fraser. My R2 is connected directly to ISP (Verizon Fios), with no modem in between, so no DMZ. I am testing on Bufferbloat.com. No Adblocker enabled.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted yesterday at 12:18 AM Administrators Share Posted yesterday at 12:18 AM Does the speed test on the router itself show higher? Can you provide a screenshot of the Device Manager table view please?
nickskep Posted yesterday at 01:25 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 01:25 AM Yes, the speed on the Device Manager does show similar with IPV4 or IPV6 enabled.
