Initial R3 settings/setup

Recommended Posts

O ok.. no i was on Bo6 but not actually in a game. Just waiting in lobby.  I tried ping optimizer it wouldn't get any better them what it was set at. I'm just tryin to make sure all the settings are what they should be at. My xr1000 took a poopy so I decided to get the R3. I guess the videos I seen on YouTube where people were able to select a game was from older versions maybe?

Selecting a game would be for a PC, for a console that's not necessary - okay that's why it wasn't showing a server/game, once in a game you should see it properly. What are the speeds you pay for/achieve?

I can't get lower then a 27.8 ping. Should I have IPv6 open? Tryin to tune this router in so I can utilize it to the best way I can.

Do you know if your connection allows for a lower ping than that? For example if you do a speedtest.net test what ping do you get to your closest server?

Do you have IPv6?

Okay that's fine then, do you know if your connection allows for a lower ping than that? For example if you do a speedtest.net test what ping do you get to your closest server?

Okay so 9ms is your base ping, if there was a game server right on top of you that would be your ping to it essentially. Then it will depend on how you've configured Congestion Control to eliminate any lag caused by other devices and based on what server you're connecting to. What is the server you play on usually?
