yard
Hello! Sorry for the noob post. I have enjoyed using this router for about a year, but I'm a bit confused about the Priority boost feature and UI in general. Two questions: 1. if I load the Router web interface from a mobile device, I get the "priority boost" interface controls. Why can't I see this on my desktop interface, and how do I do this from desktop if I dont wish to use a mobile device? 2. Are there any recommendations you would make for getting geofiltering to work well with call of duty warzone if I have a VPN for occasional use or similar installed on my primary system thanks

With the mobile interface being smaller an easier way to prioritize was made but not needed for the main desktop as you can just add the Traffic Prio rule yourself easily. If you have the VPN installed on the PC itself for example then Geo-Filtering will not work correctly
yard
Thanks for the speedy reply Fraser! I like to keep a VPN installed (but not running) a lot of the time. Is there an article or guide I can use to try to setup my VPN to work with my router? It's one of the popular ones (offers Openvpn and Wireguard) I have loved my XR1000V2, and I am so impressed with the support you offer I will upgrade to an R3 at some point in the near future
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 5 Administrators Share Posted January 5 Unfortunately the router doesn't have the HybridVPN feature on it so you're unable to set it up on the router. By the very nature of how a VPN works, unless it's applied on the router itself we can't see the traffic to be able to filter it unfortunately. There is a feature coming to the R3 that would help us determine you're using a VPN and so we can retain features otherwise wouldn't be possible but still wouldn't be for the Geo-Filter.
