Question about Geo-filter

I'm confident this works as intended, just wondering though, I'll select my PC then select "Call of duty (Series)" for the filter. I'd assume it works however it does say that it's inactive most if not all the time even when I'm in game; it will occasionally light up saying "waiting for host" but then go back to inactive or saying something along the lines of "Failed to steady ping" I believe. Is this normal?

Just editing this in, I am using the Xbox gamepass versions of these games.

It can struggle to ping games sometimes as the game servers don't respond to pings so that is normal. For game pass though I would recommend the following:

1. Quit the application/game/client completely
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
7. Wait 2 minutes
8. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works any better.
