mccoy423 Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 I get kicked out of every game server after every two hours on the dot, and here are the logs and I am on the newest firmware update from two plus years ago. Please fix the router. thank you log-1734720797257.txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 20, 2024 Administrators Posted December 20, 2024 Did you reboot before getting these logs? Did you get the logs directly after the issue happened?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 20, 2024 Administrators Posted December 20, 2024 I'm wanting to ascertain when you got the logs - if you got them after a reboot or factory reset they won't have any useful information in. I need them after the issue but prior to a reboot or reset
mccoy423 Posted December 20, 2024 Author Posted December 20, 2024 it said the same thing as before the reboot or factory reset. it said [UPnP set event: Public_UPNP_C3] every time i play in a game server after two hours on the dot.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 20, 2024 Administrators Posted December 20, 2024 I think you got the logs from in settings, could you get it from the System Information page instead please and after it happens, before a reboot/reset
mccoy423 Posted December 20, 2024 Author Posted December 20, 2024 That is from the System Information page
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 20, 2024 Administrators Posted December 20, 2024 In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.
mccoy423 Posted December 20, 2024 Author Posted December 20, 2024 okay i have set DHCP range to start at .50, I'll update you if that fixed the problem or not. Netduma Fraser 1
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 20, 2024 Administrators Posted December 20, 2024 Make sure you set the static/reserved IPs outside the range as well, just changing the range won't do anything without doing that step too
mccoy423 Posted December 21, 2024 Author Posted December 21, 2024 i have done the changes and it did not fix the problem. Here are the logs. log-1734720797257.txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 21, 2024 Administrators Posted December 21, 2024 Can you provide a screenshot of the DHCP settings/reservations please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 21, 2024 Administrators Posted December 21, 2024 You'll need to do it with all devices connected
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 22, 2024 Administrators Posted December 22, 2024 Okay and is it any better now?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 22, 2024 Administrators Posted December 22, 2024 Untick the option "Use router as DHCP server" and save, then reboot the router, wait 4 minutes and check. Any new devices you want to add you'll need to set a static/reserved IP on the device itself first, then you can set it on the router.
