TheA.k
So this has always been an issue for me and if there is a fix I can do on my end I would love to know but basically, when I play the Texas chainsaw massacre game with the Geofilter enabled on my nighthawk xr1000 router, the in game voice chat for me will be completely non functional, I won’t be able to speak nor will I be able to hear any other players speak. And I’ve noticed that this is the only game where this happens atleast from what I’ve encountered. I play on a Xbox series x if that matters. Also the geo filter for this game rarely works because most times whenever it’s on and I load into a lobby, the game gives me a network error and boots me back to the games menu Edited Tuesday at 12:15 PM by TheA.k Added additional details
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Tuesday at 03:12 PM Administrators Share Posted Tuesday at 03:12 PM We haven't specifically tested the game so while it can work, it's not optimized for it. It's likely in both cases that it is trying to connect to a server outside your radius, in terms of the chat, if you disable it once you've forced a server then it should allow you to chat, then you can re-enable it once it's working and you should then be able to continue filtering from then on and the chat should hopefully continue working. Probably the best solution though is if you see a blocked icon on the map (zoom out) when you're playing, add it to your allow list and it should work then - you may need to do it a few times, there is likely multiple servers for it.
