Reykc9510
Do these settings make any difference? IPv6 set to pass through An the DMZ setting as is?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 2 Administrators Share Posted December 2 If you're not sure what settings do in the network settings it's always best to leave them alone. If you don't have IPv6 then enabling IPv6 won't do anything. DMZ passes all traffic through to the device you put in it, this can be helpful to open NAT but is a major security issue if you do it for a PC so if you've done that take it out, it's fine to use for a console. Was set for my ps5 but I took it off. I'm just tryin to figure out a better way to get my hit registration to work better. Did auto set up for Congestion Control it put both at 100% i changed to 90 %

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 2 Administrators Share Posted December 2 We usually recommend 70% starting point for Congestion Control and then experimenting from there. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup Traffic Prioritization? What game are you playing? How is the PS5 connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? Don't have a modem i have fiber an it's connected directly to the wall. I asked last time about dmz modem/bridge mode never got a response. I haven't messed with that. I have 1 gig an it's entered into the router CC is set to 82/92 Traffic Prioritization i have it set to game console an the other 2 turned off Ps5 is connected by ethernet cable Geo filter set up in radius 1400 by Florida where I live
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 3 Administrators Share Posted December 3 That's all fine, it is worth experimenting with the Congestion Control percentages to find what works best for you, as well as trying to force different servers even if they may be slightly further away, even if it's a slightly higher ping, if it is more stable you may have a better experience. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 3 Administrators Share Posted December 3 You're not using a router in front of the XR so you can ignore that part
