Set your ISP modem to ensure all traffic flows to the R3 either with the R3 in its DMZ, modem or bridge mode. You shouldn't then need to do anything on the R3 to get an Open NAT.

Imposta il modem del tuo ISP per garantire che tutto il traffico fluisca verso l'R3, sia con l'R3 in modalità DMZ, modem o bridge. Non dovresti quindi dover fare nulla sull'R3 per ottenere un Open NAT.

my isp is a fritz box and you can't use dmz. what do you recommend between ppoe and simple DHCP and why. I owned an r2 today I will install r3. great work as always

It's called exposed host on the fritzbox, enable that and then see if it works: https://en.avm.de/service/knowledge-base/dok/FRITZ-Box-4060/131_Setting-up-a-DMZ-with-the-FRITZ-Box/

Once you've done that you don't need to open any ports on the fritz, you shouldn't need to but if port forwarding is then required you'd do so on the R3.

I'd suggest having the router use DHCP instead as it will perform better and you'll get your full speeds.
