Cant change dns server

I just bought a netduma r3 and I'm going through and changing everything in settings I tried to change the dns server settings and it won't change i unchecked the upstream dns and still won't change the dns server from router I know there have been a few people I've seen that have had this problem from what I seen in the forums but I haven't seen anything about a fix so I'm looking for some help here

and by the way it does save the dns server i try changing it to but none of the devices show that's its changed so im assuming its not changing the dns server

The devices won't show the DNS server change as they go through the router first, then the DNS you've set will be used so that's normal

Well every other router I've used when you change the dns server it shows on all your devices

If for example you mean from your ISP modem/router then yes you may see that - the DNS on the router will apply to all devices connected to it but it won't always show that on the device itself.
