NordVPN Setup

Hi,

I am trying to connect my R3 to a NordVPN and i am having issues with the config files. I download the files for the server i want, after i download them i try to open them on OpenVPN and after i try to add the profile i put the username and password and for some reason it won’t work. What is an alternative to being able open the config files and copying the content and paste it into the router’s HybridVPN? Like what app do i need to be able to open the config files so i can get the content and be able paste it into the router s VPN config screen?

All you need to use is the notepad that comes with windows, alternatively something like Sublime Text would work.

If you're still struggling provide the configs and I'll take a look.

I'm having issues as well with NordVPN. Not the same issues though. I configure mine, and trigger the connection on TCP/UDP 3074-3078, but COD still shows my connection as being where I'm actually at. Am I not forwarding the correct ports? If I use OpenVPN client on my PC, the NordVPN config takes all of my traffic to the destination. If I use a NoLagVPN config, which appears to be basically the same config, it seems that the only traffic that gets routed over VPN is the matchmaking traffic. For clarity, that is the only traffic I want over VPN. I have a geo-filter set for Atlanta, Georgia only, but I want COD to "think" I'm in Kenya when I look at the Network screen in COD.
Sorry for high-jacking, but I figured it would be easier to keep some of this info on a single thread to potentially help others.

I didn’t even forward the ports, is that neccesary?! I was able to get it to work, but one thing i noticed is that even though my config is from Kenya the host says it is Amsterdam. So i am still getting matched against people in Europe instead of the African region. Am i doing something wrong?
