Monte11 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Does anyone know how I can log back in to the DumaOS app after forgetting both username and password?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 11, 2024 Administrators Posted November 11, 2024 It's the credentials you use to login to the interface on your PC web browser - if you don't recall what it is then you'll need to factory reset and go through the wizard to set new credentials.
Monte11 Posted November 11, 2024 Author Posted November 11, 2024 My WiFi credentials? I don’t have a pc
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 11, 2024 Administrators Posted November 11, 2024 No credentials you use to access the interface/via the app, by default its admin / password but if it's not that or you don't remember them then you'll need to reset.
Monte11 Posted November 11, 2024 Author Posted November 11, 2024 I don’t remember the username or password for the app, that’s what I need help recovering and I reset it already. What do I do after that?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 11, 2024 Administrators Posted November 11, 2024 Did you reboot or factory reset? You need to hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface/app - use the default credentials to login and complete the wizard, you'll set the credentials going through the wizard
Monte11 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 I did it and it worked but now it’s sayin I have no internet connection when I connect to the netduma in my WiFi setting on my phone even though I have internet.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 12, 2024 Administrators Posted November 12, 2024 Do other devices connected to it have internet? You may need to forget the WiFi on the phone then reconnect
Monte11 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 Yea my phone has in tenet when I connect to it and my router(netduma) and phone are the only things connected to my modem. I also did that and when reconnecting it still say no internet connection. This all happened after I reset it.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 12, 2024 Administrators Posted November 12, 2024 Did you disable DHCP by any chance?
Monte11 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 (edited) Also I jst took the Ethernet out of the netduma and plugged it in my Xbox and it put me right online so it’s not my internet that’s down. Edited November 12, 2024 by Monte11
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 12, 2024 Administrators Posted November 12, 2024 What is the model of the phone exactly? You may need to split the WiFi bands and connect it to 2.4GHz instead
Monte11 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 I have a a iPhone14 pro max and how do I split the WiFi bands and connect it to 2.4GHZ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 13, 2024 Administrators Posted November 13, 2024 Go to WiFi Settings on the router, click split bands. The R3 2.4GHz network will appear on your phone wifi list to connect to.
Monte11 Posted November 13, 2024 Author Posted November 13, 2024 I dont have a “split bands” option, I can connect to the R3 on my phone it’s just when I connect to it it says “no internet connection”
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 14, 2024 Administrators Posted November 14, 2024 Go to Settings > WiFi > Advanced and then split bands is at the bottom of that screen
