newton45
I've been searching everywhere for a solution, so I hope someone here can help me. I have 2.5 gbps internet. I am wired on PC. I previously had a Netduma R2 router which I loved for the geofencing playing Call Of Duty. It gave me about 18ms ping per game. It unfortunately bricked. But while it gave me a geofenced location close to me, I wasn't getting the full strength of my internet because the R2 was capped at 1 gbps. I am looking for a router/solution to use all 2.5 gbps of my internet while also geofencing to my closest location. Seems like Netduma routers are still capped at 1 gbps and faster routers don't offer geofencing. I would obviously love a router than can do both, but I would even settle for a router capable of high speeds and maybe a separate geofence software or something. Idk, just trying to find the best solution. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 1 Administrators Share Posted November 1 We don't have any hardware currently available of reaching those speeds, you could use your ISP modem/router as the main router allowing for your speeds then get an R3 or second hand R2, whatever you wish and use it exclusively with your gaming device for the Geo-Filter. Your bandwidth doesn't matter for gaming so it would work just fine that way.
