EAFC Lima server

Hello good morning,

I'm testing the XR1000V2 for the EAFC 25 game and I have a problem regarding the information on the LIMA server to which I connect

The problem is that first it tells me that it cannot be pinged, "N/C ms" appears and at the bottom "NaNms":

Then when I start a game session, an incorrect location appears, since I am 100% sure that I connected to LIMA by manually choosing that server from the game

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to solve it?

Thank you so much

Not all servers will be able to be pinged - if you provide the ID of the server from the Geo-Filter we can correct it

Hello, thanks for replying, the ID is "73604712fd12fb00"
That is the ID of the server that it says when I connect to the LIMA server, but the domain it gives does not seem to be LIMA, which is "ec2-96-0-18-18.compute-1.amazonaws.com"

I wanted to take this opportunity to ask you why I can't ping all the game servers? and also why can't you know the IP of all the servers?

I would like to know it for knowledge, not because it is something absolutely necessary for me.

Thank you so much.

Thank you, I'll pass that on.

Game servers tend to reject pings, I don't know the specific reason why. In terms of the IP its because you could also see peoples IP addresses and that could be used maliciously.

Now thinking a little about solving the ping issue for those locations that in the end is the interest of every gamer and ignoring if it is possible but as plan B the AWS server in Lima could be used to analyze the test that turns out to be "us-east -1-lim-1a"

By doing a little research I managed to find a page that tests all AWS servers and for Lima I found "https://us-east-1-lim-1a.aws-latency-test.com/" and the ping is the same to which the EAFC25 returns. It could be the closest to being able to measure the ping, of course until it can be done directly.

I am very grateful for your answers and management, I know that it will be very helpful for all those interested in Latin America, to learn about the behavior of the network, DumaOs and its functionalities because I came here looking for these types of answers.

Great regards

We do actually utilize something like this for Ping Heatmap but it's likely we'll need to update the heatmap with a new server, thanks for letting us know!

Hello, sorry for the question, to see what you updated, do I have to do something on the router or is this done automatically?
