LilEnri
Good morning everyone, I recently bought the netduma r3 and I'm trying to configure it. Everything went well until I got to the "Ping Optimizer" tab, which seems to have no effect when making changes. I tried to follow some guides here in the forum, but it didn't work, namely: - disable ipv6 - disable SpeedTestBypass - set Congestion Control Mode to Always On - disable GeoFence - disable device / service priority I await news, thanks to everyone, have a nice day
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 26 Administrators Share Posted October 26 What's the exact issue - it's not adjusting the speeds you're receiving on a speedtest?

Now I have another question if possible
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 27 Administrators Share Posted October 27 That shouldn't be the cause but as long as you're not getting any NAT issues that's fine. Of course, what's your question?

Ovviamente, qual è la tua domanda? Unfortunately yes, the NAT has gone from “open” to “moderate”, is there any solution to this? The other question was about the high latency on the game, apparently ping stabilizer raises the latency a bit (from 30-40ms to 50-60ms). Thanks
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 27 Administrators Share Posted October 27 You can re-enable it and we can resolve the initial issue or you can use port forwarding to achieve an open NAT. Yes Steady Ping does increase the latency to provide a solid steady ping that does not fluctuate, therefore putting you more in sync with the server. If you don't want the additional ping you can disable it and it will go back down.

Port Forwarding is set to the ports: - TCP 65535 - 65535 - UDP 433 - 433 so that I can use the VPN only on the game, is correct?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 27 Administrators Share Posted October 27 Oh so you're using a VPN? You will have trouble getting an Open NAT then and those port forwards won't open the NAT. The VPN applies to whatever the rule is that you made, it wouldn't be affected by port forwarding LilEnri
