Hi all, hope everyone is well.

I am useless with this stuff compared to you lot i'm sure, but here goes anyway...

I have recently acquired a Netduma R2 and would like help with getting the best out it to use with PS5, and call of duty.

I have an existing Fritzbox from my ISP, and my Netduma is approx 45metres away in the shed. When i hooked up the Netduma to the Fritzbox via CAT 6, my speeds went from approx 750 download, 120 upload, to 40 download and 10 upload. I think the Fritzbox must be blocking the speeds, as when i ran the CAT 6 before the Netduma the speeds were fine.

Any help is very much appreciated.

TIA

How have you set the fritz to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

Have you entered your expected speeds into the R2? What are your Congestion Control settings?

Hi there....sorry for late reply but appreciate the response.

I haven't changed much in the fritzbox other than a setting, that I can't find now, that prioritises Internet to PS5 when in use.

The R2 in its DMZ, modem bridge mode...not got a clue. Congestion control settings? I really don't know.

Appreciate you trying to help but I really am useless with this stuff.

No need to reply as I think you will be exhausted trying to walk me through this stuff starting from the ground up.

Thanks anyway tho 👍

No worries, the best bet is to have a look at our optimal settings guides here: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646 this will give you a good overview and has a section on speeds. Let us know if that doesn't help and we can go from there.
