SimMAUDeon
My LAN is set up as 172.17.2.0/24 I used to be able to connect to the web GUI of my Humax modem at 192.168.100.1 without having to change any IP address settings on my computer. Now, suddenly, I can't...It tries and then times out. Any ideas re what I might have inadvertently done when I rebuilt the network after upgrading the XR1000 firmware? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 1 Administrators Share Posted October 1 Behind the XR are you able to ping the modem LAN IP in command prompt? Nothing really would have changed to affect that between the updates honestly and that would be a NG change and they rarely touch that area. No...also I don't remember if I ever pinged it via CMD before. Had no reason to because it worked from day 1 with the modem. THX for the quick response.. 👍
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 4 Administrators Share Posted October 4 It's most likely the humax blocking it somehow, what operation mode is the humax in?
