I can no longer access the router via the app, I tried from different phones and the error is always the same, it remains loading

Do you still have access via a PC? Was anything changed prior to trying to login such as changing the credentials but you have auto login on the app selected for example?

hi fraser, i tried downloading an apk of a previous version from the site apkpure and i have no problem logging in, but if i download the app from play store it doesn't work

I installed this latest version because I still had the official Netgear one, the app works but only if I select that the router is an xr1000 and not an xr500

That should be the opposite, did you factory reset after the firmware update?

yes I reset the router, but the app only lets me access it if I select xr1000

Can you provide a screenshot of the System Information page on the router and the app please?
