TallTales Posted September 23, 2024 Author Posted September 23, 2024 I know gaming uses low upload but this low ? & 40secs of gaming? that can't be correct / accurate. I played roughly 2 hrs. of gaming throughout my day. is it possible the router isn't detecting the upload usage... 97mb...? That cant be right for 2 hours of gaming on Tarkov Arena and regular Tarkov plus active on a VC on discord.
TallTales Posted September 24, 2024 Author Posted September 24, 2024 Do you think my modem is defective? Is there a modem you recommend?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 24, 2024 Administrators Posted September 24, 2024 The timing on the dashboard is incorrect, that will be fixed (it's not the timing not the detection) but the usage is accurate, you could use anywhere from 10 - 300MB per hour gaming, it's really not a lot. I couldn't say on the modem but could you PM me the MAC address shown on the sticker on the underside of your R3 please and I'll get the team to try something tomorrow that could help.

TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 I have a update available. Should i start it ? Netduma R3 - DumaOS 4.0.290
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2024 Administrators Posted September 27, 2024 That's a firmware update, you can do that if you wish to, would probably be a good idea! We also did get that alternate cloud version for you so if you do do the update that should trigger during setup and download it, then see if you have a different experience. TallTales 1
TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Fraser, still the same. I updated the software on the R3, resynced the cloud. deleted the device in geo-filter and re-added. I also reset the modem, router, and computer. I started the game and i still get the same result. no change.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2024 Administrators Posted September 27, 2024 Check for "Call of Duty Content" in the File Sharing category on SmartBOOST, do you have that?
TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 I'm sorry, i lost you. what do you mean?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2024 Administrators Posted September 27, 2024 Go to add a activity priority on SmartBOOST, go to File Sharing and check for Call of Duty Content - you don't need to use it.
TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Thank you lol and i don't have that as a option.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2024 Administrators Posted September 27, 2024 Resync the cloud from the Device Manager and Geo-Filter pages then check again please
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2024 Administrators Posted September 27, 2024 Could you resync again and then grab the log please? I'm fairly convinced that for some reason you're not able to download the cloud updates properly which is what is causing the issue. The logs should tell us more.
TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Did it twice. Please let me know. I tried to send this file through DM but i couldn't ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2024 Administrators Posted September 27, 2024 Thank you for that, I'm not a dev but I just compared yours to mine and there are some distinct differences where yours doesn't work and mine does. I'll have to pass the log onto a dev to look into it more closely but have you disabled DPI in troubleshooting settings at all?
TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 OK Disabled DPI Classification in advanced Troubleshooting Settings. I wait for the next step, i guess an dev is going to investigate? I appreciate you for all of your time and help.
TallTales Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 NVM, i didn't disable DPI as it said disabling is not recommended. I'll wait for further instructions.
