SmartBOOST issue.

Hello.
I’m having an issue with my PC showing up offline in SmartBOOST priorities devices.

I’ve set my PC as a Computer under device manager.

Also, my game EFT is not being recognized as priority or in GEO-Filter. Any help on this matter would be great appreciated

Thank you,

Will

Just for example, I am on Escape from Tarkov right now.... and still shows offline, other things do pop up (unknown, which i believe is Escape from Tarkov, Discord, Spotify, etc. etc) ... I have two monitors, so i am looking while in raid and still nothing in GEO-FILTER.. its seems like the R3 is not recognizing the fact that I'm gaming for one, that I'm on tarkov and that my PC is online. I set my PC to private network in Windows but discoverable to other devices.

I also reserved the IP address for my PC. UPNP is on by default. NO port forwarding, no static routes, no other rules and exceptions set. I don't think lan port matters but i have my computer directly hard wired to the R3 to LAN Port TWO. Yesterday, i was on Lan Port ONE.

Usually when this happens it's because it's the wrong device - I know you've set a reserved IP but just double check the IP on the device itself is the same as what is showing on the Device Manager for the device you think it is.

Sir Fraser,

i do appreciate the help.

Trust me i do, I've tried.

Please understand my frustration, I've spent too much energy on trying to fix this problem when i expected this to work right out the box.

I'm less than 10 meters hardwired to the router via a cat6 cable. I must ask, what would be the return policy for someone in my situation?

I don't believe it's a fault currently, more than likely it's not downloaded the cloud properly and a quick resync in the Geo-Filter and Device Manager would prompt a redownload of it but I've given you Early Access to firmware to try should that not work https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ I believe you've emailed too so I'll respond there.

I've tried the cloud resync and the firmware update... Still the same.

I just read the email response on the return and its not worth returning. First it seems like i have to pay to ship the return and or to risk being lost in transit back to CA.

I guess, I'll stick with it and see if any improvements come my way.

If you ever want to remote access to help fix my issue, Please let me know.

Thanks for all the help.

MODEM > R3> UNMANAGED SWITCH

Its a SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1, it's a modem only then that's connected to the R3. It's DHCP, its all automatic.

I do have a unmanaged 5 port switch but that's connected to the R3 router, which its only connected to a apple tv (i planned on removing it but i haven't had a chance to it. I only have two devices hardwired, My PC and the Apple TV.
