Paddy Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Hi.I can’t get steady ping to stabilise.it was working fine up until now but whenever I go into a match on cod it doesn’t stabilise
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 5, 2024 Administrators Posted September 5, 2024 You won't be able to stabilize every single game but I suspect in this case it has something to do with the fact that it thinks you have a 1ms ping that doesn't need stabilizing - what is the usual ping shown?
Paddy Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 The usual ping shown is 9 to 10 ping on the netduma r3
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 19, 2024 Administrators Posted September 19, 2024 Is it always showing 1ms now or has it gone back to normal and if it is normal is it now stabilizing?
Paddy Posted September 19, 2024 Author Posted September 19, 2024 It only happens when it connects to London….i get 1ms ping in London then Paris Amsterdam etc they all stabilise.i added an attachment
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 19, 2024 Administrators Posted September 19, 2024 Could you click on the console please so you can see more information about the server, does ping method say traced? Do the other servers that work correctly say direct?
Paddy Posted September 19, 2024 Author Posted September 19, 2024 I left the attachment for you as per request..not sure what’s happening with it
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 19, 2024 Administrators Posted September 19, 2024 Okay it's traced which is what my theory was, now the ones that are working properly, what does the ping method say for them?
Paddy Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 As per request please see attachment
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 20, 2024 Administrators Posted September 20, 2024 Hmm okay, must be my first thought then and it's not able to ping very far to stabilize it - I'm not sure there is much we can do about that currently. We will be overhauling the ping system at a later stage which should make it more stable.
Paddy Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 That’s grand…we can go from there then.thanks Netduma Fraser 1
