Hi,

I’m just wondering if anyone has the R3 set up with a Virgin Hub 5 in modem mode.

The Hub 5 doesn’t have DMZ as far as I can tell, and my R3 has a lot of drop outs on my PC which is connected via LAN cable.

I believe my Port 3 is faulty on the R3 as that drops out constantly. But I’m having intermittent drop outs on other ports too, sometimes just my PC, other times my partners PC. Both PCs have reserved IPs on the Netduma R3. So I’m wondering if it’s to do with the communication from R3 to Hub 5.

if anyone has any suggestions I’d be grateful.

Thanks

I've found the V Hub modem mode to be a bit flaky in the past so try doing the above and see if that provides better stability.

Greetings, is this still the case? Done the change from modem to router mode today.

I haven't used VM for awhile now so I couldn't say, I know they have new hubs out now so it's probably better than it was

Ah, understandable, it's the Virgin Hub 5 too that I'm using.

I was using the Hub 3 I think so I'm sure they've come a long way
