Internet speed does not reach maximum

Hi guys, a few days ago I had a new 1000/300 optical internet installed. I have a problem that on my R2 router I do not achieve the same speed as on my older Xiaomi AX3600 via CAT7 cable.

This is the speed over NetDuma

This is the speed through Xiaomi

I didn't change any settings in the modem, I just changed the cable from NetDuma to Xiaomi.

I also tried to turn off QoS completely, turn off IPv6, do a factory reset, but I can't get past the download 800 via NetDuma. Is it because of the hardware? It is strange to me that a €150 WiFi router cannot reach full Internet speed.

I am also signed up for early access to the new beta. Could I please get permission if the beta won't help me solve my problem? Thank you

You may not be able to get any higher but what is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? You should set it to ensure all traffic flows to the R2. Are ALL devices connected to the R2? Disabling the protection options in WAN Settings may help.

I've given you access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ when on that interface to access QoS use http://192.168.77.1/desktop/webview.html

I got Huawei OptiXstar HG8145X6, which is a WiFi router, to the Internet. But I made an agreement with the internet provider to leave it as a modem only, and remote support switched my router to bridge mode.

I only use R2 as a switch and WiFi is turned off on it. Everything else is connected via cables and to R2.

I'm going to try what you wrote and install the new firmware. I'll let you know how I went. Thanks for now.

No matter what setting or port I change on the R2 I still can't get the same download speed as the Xiaomi router. I have to say that I am currently disappointed with R2 and I haven't had it for a week. I think it will go back in the box and go to the cellar.

It's not super surprising it's not matching the speeds on that router, the R2 hardware is a downgrade from the Xiaomi, regardless of the general specs the R2 is AC WiFi and the Xiaomi WiFi 6 so they're in different leagues of hardware. When buying the R2 you're really buying it for the software.
