Munz01
Hey, first time writing here. I hope everyone’s having a nice day. I jus ordered the R3 and was thinking if I plug my R3 straight to my FTTP ONT box (Fibre modem) would give me the best experience or have my EE router plugged as normal then connect that to my R3. I have low ping on EE but it’s not stable at all so I’m just curious which is the best option.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 8 Administrators Share Posted August 8 You can do either really, the difference would be minimal but generally, the less hops the better so connecting it direct to the ONT would be ideal! Arturo CG
Buen día. Podrían explicar cómo sería la conexión del ISP hacia el router, ya que la conexión de fibra óptica tiene un conector especial, pero como se lograría conectarlo directamente al R3 como lo mencionan. Gracias.

You can only use an ethernet (RJ45) cable to connect the R3 to the internet so you'll need to use a modem/router that connects via the connector you mentioned and then connect the R3 to that.
