Doesn’t like my TV hardwired

I have a question since I’ve had my R3 I’ve had to take my tv and laptop off of hardwired. It works wireless but when I hook up cables it kicks them out. 
it’s the way I’ve always ran my hardware just curious as to why it would let WiFi work but not lan?

What do you mean it kicks them out exactly?

Not connected to the internet. I can turn it off turn it on and it will see it then disappear. 
 

Laptop will connect hardwired then Disconnect from the internet. WiFi seems to be the only stable connection. 
 

when I check speed test I’m close to a gig but it’s doesn’t like my tv or laptop.

There isn't any reason from the router perspective why this would happen unless you disabled DHCP. If you try with different/new ethernet cables do they work?

I’ll take a look at my settings and will try a new cables. Perhaps a rat got them. lol. 
as far as my PlayStation it’s hardwired and works great. Wonderful gaming router I just got to fix the other before my wife throws a fit.
