shomarih97
I upgraded to the Netduma R3 from the Netgear Nighthawk XR300 and have had a lot of issues. The biggest thng at the moment is receiving Packet burst & Extrapolation whenever I play MW3. I have also enabled steady ping which feels like it does nothing. I have prioritized my PC and Gaming traffic through the smart Boost section all with no luck. I have even given my PC a static IP address and port forwarded the following ports I have had no luck even a router reboot doesn't seem to solve this issue. Most games I play are under 30 ping but I somehow have a rubber band feeling when running around the map on cod and end up running into walls due to all of this. Also I have my geo filter set so I can block all servers except NYC servers but somehow still get connected to servers outside my geo filter is this normal? I am new to the NetDuma OS and have been using it for less than a year so sorry if I missed anything in advance. I tried troubleshooting everything the best I can before asking for help. If needed I have logs from this session as well.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 16 Administrators Share Posted July 16 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? For the Geo-Filter: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work to keep servers inside your radius. How have you setup Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced? Bright11
Not sure if this is helpful to you but I have noticed a lot of lobbies have been very unstable since the update last week. Ping stays solid but more often than not the game feels very jittery. Not sure if that’s what your experiencing, but figured I’d chime in!
