FingerTester
Hoping to try out the early access to fix the not connecting until 30 seconds after wake bug. I am also getting the slowdown overtime bug where speeds just steadily decline as the router is online, requiring a restart to get full speed again. I'm on windows 10, fiber 1gig up and down, very small network with only a few devices. All devices on the network are experiencing both bugs, both wireless and wired. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 30 Administrators Share Posted June 30 Added you https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ I don't think the delay in connecting is fixed in this one, more likely the next one but give it a try. FingerTester
Any updates on the network slowing down overtime? Is it related to me giving priority to my main PC? It seems likes its getting worse with me having restart twice a day now.

SmartBOOST causes this speed problems something is wrong with smartBOOST If you have this problem, turn it off and on smartBOOST it will fix it for some time and come back again after a while. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 13 Administrators Share Posted July 13 I'd have to check in with the team, could you check the CPU usage currently on the router, is it high?

Hovering from 15-45% ish percent on the first three cores atm after restarting about an hour ago. I'll check again when the router slows down.

FingerTester
11 hours later just the wireless network has slowed down. My phone on top of the router using wireless is pulling 90mbs on a 1 gig network. CPU usage is completely normal same as before. Speed test on my PC plugged directly into the router produces gig speeds up and down.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 14 Administrators Share Posted July 14 Try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ See if the speeds increase after that
