kryptik66
Is there a way to limit connection speed on guest wifi, or even a specific device? also to put these devices as low priority, is it best to add the device to the bottom of the smart boost list or just not include them in the list at all? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 21, 2024 Administrators Share Posted June 21, 2024 Not that I am aware of no, I'll add that to the list. Just don't add them to your priority list and they'll remain unprioritized (assuming you're doing prioritizing by device rather than activities)
kryptik66
Okay thanks, I use the device priority list and the activity priority list. They can be used simultaneously right? I'd just have to only prioritize activities. I'd just have to prioritise only activities I'm using.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 22, 2024 Administrators Share Posted June 22, 2024 No you can only use one or the other at a time
kryptik66
Oh I didn't realise, how do I activate one or the other do I just have to delete out the other entries?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 23, 2024 Administrators Share Posted June 23, 2024 Delete entries for one and then add on the other and leave what you've decided to use as the active/viewed screen if you see what I mean - if you want to prioritize by devices it should be clicked/showing, not activities

As when I log back into the router it is always displaying activities under the smart boost screen by default. Even with all activities removed and leaving the it on the devices screen before leaving the current screen or reloading the page. This always appears when I access this screen, which is why I assumed both activities and devices were active.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 25, 2024 Administrators Share Posted June 25, 2024 Yeah it does seem to show activities by default but as long as you set it the way I mentioned it will still work for devices. I will pass that on for the team to change though because you're right it's not super clear kryptik66
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 2, 2024 Administrators Share Posted July 2, 2024 So I checked and that's actually my mistake, both can be active at the same time, it just defaults to the activities view
