I really don't care what it shows there, as long as my hits are registered at a normal level. I don't expect magic, I'm 1400 km away from the nearest server. Had enough. I went to my provider. Cant inform me on 3rd party but dont see why what u said wouldnt work. So i bit the bullet and added on my own static ip with the provider. My ip isnt changing at all. Totally static. Run with the settings u said to have. No matter what i do. The day after it always goes back to double nat and strict. Been nonstop since i purchased this. Wish could send it back lol. I cant run in bridge as for some reason my sonos dont like connecting to the netduma. Expand For the Sonos I suspect it's not liking the automatic band switching for the WiFi so split the bands, connect it to 2.4GHz and assuming that works then run the bridge mode and see if it works better. Expand No i mean the nodes are coonected to the linksys. They are basically my linksys router. One is set as main. Others have as boosters around home. I have 3. Heres a link for them. Expand In theory both options should work unless there is an issue assigning an address to the router. I'm confident it would be exactly the same as I don't think it's on the R3 side. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 5, 2024 Administrators Share Posted August 5, 2024 It should just be assign a static/reserved IP to the R3 and then pop that in the DMZ and you're good to go. You could try assigning the IP outside the DHCP range and then disable DHCP (make sure you give those nodes and any other devices IPs outside the range first) and that way if there is an issue with the DHCP implementation it may stay working.
