Hi I’m fairly new to having a gaming router, I have an XR1000, that I bought a couple days ago, an according the photos I’ve got here I’ve got a few issues I need help with. Day one of owning the router everything worked smoothly but yesterday I ran a connection benchmark check just to see if everything was running smoothly and that’s when all these issues started. Anytime I try to auto test my speed I get “NaN” at the end of the test. Connection benchmark doesn’t seem to want to run the test properly 99% percent of the time. And auto setup can’t seem to make it past the first stage of testing. I’ve tried rebooting the router numerous times. Factory resetting it changing CC to 70/70 nothing seems to work. I’ve spent over 12 hours trying to fix it but seem to be hitting a brick wall. If someone would be so kind to help that would be awesome

Hi I’ve factory reset the xr1000 about 4-5 times it makes no difference, I have noticed when I do speed tests while connected just to my isp the speeds are what they should be but when I connect to the nighthawk and do a speed test the speeds are about 2 thirds lower

I would always recommend coming to us if you can't fix an issue after about an hour as it'll save you a lot of time - the servers used for these tests are hardcoded, it appears the provider isn't using those server addresses all the team which can lead to the tests failing. Best to setup the speeds/congestion control manually for the moment.

Hi Fraser, so I’ve managed to run some tests last night by setting speeds manually, and having 70/70 cc seems to be the only way that the tests complete in its entirety. Whenever I shift cc from 70/70 either direction it stops working again

I am encountering the same issues as the OP with the current hotfix 72 firmware.  If I rollback, the issues goes away.  I have the Netgear Armor (Bitdefender), Remote Control, and Adblocker all turned off.  And yes, I have done factory reset.  I have chosen to stay in the rollback state since it works much better than the most current firmware.

As above we know why it's not working, the firmware version shouldn't affect it but if you want to be on the latest I'd suggest changing those setting manually for the moment
