Hi Netduma R3 Support Team,

I just bought a Netduma R3. All devices are recognized in the Device Manager. However, when launching Geo Filter and launching eFootball, my XBOX Series X doesn't show as active in Geo Filter, and doesn't show me the servers I'm connecting to. I don't have the same issue with my PS5. I only have this issue with XBOX Series X. I tried all the troubleshooting info that I could find on your website and this forum but nothing worked. Can you please advise, on how my XBOX Series X shows up as "active" on the Geo Filter and shows me which servers I'm connecting to?

Thank you,

Chris

Double check the IP on the device when connected via ethernet then check for a device with the same IP on the Device Manager, rename it and add it to Geo as it may appear as something different than you're expecting.

Hi Fraser - I just checked: IPs are matching on both XBOX and Device Manager in Netduma. I also changed DMZ to R3 WAN IP so I have an Open NAT. I dont know what else could be the issue?

Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  6. Wait 2 minutes
  7. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works.

I tried this at least three times and my XBOX still doesn't show as active in the Geo Filter. Everywhere else (smartboost, network activity, device manager), it shows that my XBOX is connected and that I'm playing efootball. The Geo Filter just doesn't show it. Very frustrating as I tried everything to troubleshoot. Would it be possible for someone to remotely log in to my Netduma web application, or is there any other thing you would like me to try?

Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?

Only devs can remote access and that's for major bugs if needed not for troubleshooting

I managed to solve it. In addition to DMZ, I had to do port forwarding. Very strange, as my PS5 worked immediately in Geo Filter but for the XBOX I had to make several adjustments.
