Speeds decline over time, requiring multiple daily restarts.

Recommended Posts

I have 500d/25u speeds but have a hard limit on my settings for bufferbloat. Every 12-16hrs, my speeds will both decline to under 5mbps and basically lock up any streams or browsing going on in my house. How to remedy?

Does this happen for all devices and does it happen for wired and wireless devices? What is the model of the ISP modem/router the R3 is connected to and how is that setup? Are ALL devices connected to the R3?

All devices. Netgear cm1000v1 > R3 for wired devices > XR450 for wifi.

There will be a new update today I believe which will have some fixes for speeds, try that when available and let us know if that helps

Do you also know how to fix the “warning invalid ipv4 and ipv6 version” error this is in system logs and it’s coming up with this and dhcp lease changes all the time

You can generally ignore the logs, they will sometimes show entries that appear to be issues but are normal background processes - are you noticing a specific issue alongside these entries?

The wifi seems slow on both public .41 and early access .179 firmware it's the same with QoS off or on. Also tested with ipv6 on and off on both wan and lan.

Yeah the RGB doesnt work at all after multiple restarts for other reasons. I've tried multiple colors and patterns and nothing works.

As in it doesn't change colours, the RGB isn't on etc?

Wont change at all. I’ve tried resetting to the default color scheme, rebooting, unplugging for 2min, etc.
