Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 5, 2024 Administrators Posted May 5, 2024 I would suggest the second option - having the XR handle VLAN is not a requirement nor will it give you better experience
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 5, 2024 Administrators Posted May 5, 2024 The gains are minimal. TV should connect to the XR if possible. You can activate IPv6 on the XR but only if it's handling the main connection, if its in the DMZ then no need. You only need this if your ISP supports IPv6. Zli 1
Shunk Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 If my xr is connected to my isp modem I doesnt active ipv6 on the xr?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16 Administrators Posted January 16 The XR would need to have IPv6 enabled in Settings as well
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 17 Administrators Posted January 17 It shouldn't interfere no, I know there were issues in the past with them together but not heard anything recently Shunk 1
Shunk Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 I tried it ipv6 interfer again with the qos not matter what connetec with vlan or connected to isp modem
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 24 Administrators Posted January 24 What firmware version are you on?
Shunk Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 The last one v2.3.2.134rc14 i remind this problem is on v134 and v.134rc10 to
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 24 Administrators Posted January 24 Which IPv6 option are you using on the XR? I think it will happen with VLAN more so than without
