ElijahLund
I am thinking about buying the r3 but I want to know if the wifi will cover my entire house (5,000 square feet)?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29 Administrators Share Posted April 29 It's impossible to say as it depends on a lot of factors but I'd guess that it probably wouldn't ElijahLund
ElijahLund
are there any wifi extenders I could buy that would be compatible with this router?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29 Administrators Share Posted April 29 Any should work really, there are no specific requirements for compatibility ElijahLund
ElijahLund
Ok good, also i want to get this router mainly for the geo-filter feature but I want to confirm that it will do what I think it will. So I play Fortnite and when I play I always get routed to Ashburn or Virginia Beach game servers, but I want to play on the Dublin Ohio game server because it is much closer to me and I get much lower ping. So with geo-filter will I be able to block out Ashburn and Virginia Beach servers and only play on Dublin Servers?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29 Administrators Share Posted April 29 Utilizing Geo-Latency yes you should be able to which is the only way you'd be able to filter due to the way Fortnite matchmaking works. However, I can't guarantee it'll be fool proof as just due to the way Geo-Latency works it's possible to get servers outside your radius sometimes. ElijahLund
What would you say the success rate of geo-latency is? Would I get the desired server like 70+ percent of the time?

I couldn't say, there are a lot of variables and it depends how determined the game is to send you to a server it wants you to connect to regardless of the connection quality
