Mw3 login problem.Netduma R3

Hello, today I turned on the Sony5 and wanted to start the MW3 game. App Mw3 kept telling me that I was not connected to the Internet, and the console showed that I was online. I switched to wi-fi and was able to connect normally. Immediately after that, I transferred Lan cabal and I was able to connect, only that I no longer have Nat type open. Nothing was changed on the network. No new device was inserted into the network. Everything was normal last night, I turned off the console and went to sleep. Today, when I wanted to play, I couldn't. I think the router is doing something of its own. This is not the first time this has happened x2, unfortunately. I restarted the router twice and I could not connect until I first switched to Wi-Fi and then the LAN cable. So yesterday everything was normal, but today everything is different. Just to point out the error and to hope that there will be an update soon that will fix a lot of glitches.

Do you keep the PS5 in an instant on/standby mode and do you leave the game on so when you go on the console and go on the game it basically skips the initial loading?

Yes, I always turn off the app and then turn off the Sony. I say again - everything was ok last night. My wan ip is the same, literally nothing has changed. Everything happened automatically. The game itself could not be logged in. This has already happened several times. I can't really reset the router to factory settings anymore. I left the router on so you can look at my settings.

If I do that, my MW3 game won't make sense anymore. I will be sent to servers who knows where and I will lag a lot.

It's just a test to see whether that resolves the issue. If it does then it is likely a necessary server is being blocked that you can then look out for and add to your allow list to prevent it in future so you can re-enable the filter.

I have over 100 servers blocked. Logging into the game itself is a problem. I can't log into App MW3 online at all. It says that I don't have internet at all, I think the servers come later. Then I go to Wi-Fi and everything is fine. I managed to log in. Very strange

Yeah I understand that, right at the start it will use a server to ensure you're connected to the online service, if that is blocked then it may result in the issue you're seeing. So just to double check, if you disable the Geo-Filter does it allow you on?

Should I delete the device from the Geo Filter or...? Ps.Why doesn't that error appear when I switch to wi-fi? When I'm on wi-fi I log in every time without any problems? As far as I saw, the ip address also changed in the DMZ. It is no longer the IP address from Sony, now the IP address from the router is entered. I can't return it to be from Sony again. Every time I tried to set the Ip address from sony, the router itself would always set it to be from the router IP. So it all happened automatically and overnight. Thanks

My static IP address of Lan cable for Sony is 192.168.77.199. That address was registered in the DMZ. The router changed the IP address and now the IP address in the DMZ is 192.168.77.1. That address is static from NetdumeR3 192.168.77.1. ps. I never tried to change the Wi-Fi address from Sony to a static address.

The IP Changed because you probably aren’t filtering WIFI only Wired. I know what you are talking about, try to filter both Wired and Wifi connection and set up a static address for both. You also can’t have a DMZ for both WIFI AND Wired at the same time, each of those has a different IP Adress, and you need to set a static address for both, preferably the one you are going to put on your DMZ setting.

That thing of not being able to login happens to me too sometimes, I usually just turn off the  geo filter, login and then turn it on (inside of the game after connecting) and it eventually gets back to normal, I didn’t even any server denied so I believe it’s the netduma software just getting confused per say

Thanks, but that's not true. Let's allow Admins to answer questions. I did not try to change the wi-fi to static address.Thank you

I turned off the Geo-Filter and I have the same problem. Now when I switch to Wi-Fi I log into the game without any problems.

Can you provide a screenshot of this change in IP? It's impossible for it to give it the IP of the router itself.

I have seen this before, try this power off your ISP modem/router and R3, waiting 15 seconds and turning them both back on.

I tried to turn off the modem from my ISP but I still have the problem.

Looks like the IP there is cut off, I suspect if you edit or view it on a PC the IP will be the same.

Change your DNS on the router to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and see if that helps please

Now I made my wi-fi Ip address from Sony to be static and I connected normally in MW3 App and now my Nat type is open. Very strange. The problem is that when I play on Wi-Fi, I have a lot of lag. I need a good connection and LAN cable. Everything happened overnight by itself. Unbelievable.

There is definitely some interference. My DNS settings on PS5 are 8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4. I say again, when I want to log in via LAN cable, it doesn't work, then I immediately connect to Wi-Fi and it works, and then when I'm in the game (lobby) I go to console settings and return to LAN connection and then I can log in normally, but there is no more nat type open on LAN cable. And somehow I have like some delay in the game. Strange

How to change DNS in a router. Is it there on the WAN setting? Should I set it there?

I tried it and switched it back to Lan and it won't work. I turned off both the router and the modem from the ISP and nothing. Again, the problem of logging in with Lan Cable and IP Address 192.168.77.199. When I switch to Wi-Fi 192.168.77.144, it works and logs in normally, only that I lag a lot in the game when I'm on Wi-Fi. What else should I do and try? How could everything be set up like that overnight and ruin everything?

I turned off DMZ, I turned off UPnP, I turned off Geo-Filter and I can play on Lan again. I managed to login to Mw3 App. I don't have Nat type open. But I can play Sony. I really hope that this will all be resolved soon. Everything got complicated. I read what people write. Stick together, work hard and you will reach the goal. I am looking forward to the new firmware.

Unfortunately, the same thing is repeated today. Even though I turned everything off, I can't log in via Lan. I have to turn off the Netduma R3 router completely and connect my old Asus router. I will look in a month to see if there is any new update until then, let the router stay in the box.

I had to do a factory reset again and start everything from the beginning. Now it works normally again and the Nat type is open and the connection in MW3 is normal.
