ProfD
Hello, I have a big issue with my Jitter and i have no idea how to fix it, I am trying with Ping Optimizer in net duma but it doesn't even work either, gives me the message "DumaOS is unable to complete the Ping Optimizer process due to external circumstances." I tried testing my ping first and then optimizing it but nothing, any clue of how to fix both of my issues?

ChrisG82
Do a reboot of the R3 first. When the R3 is online again try to repeat ping optimizer….
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4 Administrators Share Posted March 4 Where are you testing your jitter exactly? What firmware version are you on? Go to Ping Optimizer > Advanced and you can set Congestion Control manually which will help (it's what Ping Optimizer changes)

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4 Administrators Share Posted March 4 Congestion Control will help but also, what is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

I've put the R3 away(going to get rid of it) and using a different router that's performing better in the end.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7 Administrators Share Posted March 7 Fair enough, well we will have new firmware soon that will have more fixes/improvements so best to try it again when that is available
