bowthorpe123
Hello, Geofence was fine first few days of having the R3 - tonight i connected to a server - worked fine. Came off the game. Closed everything. Changed location. Server Pings where i have chosen on the map but just doesnt find a game - I have to then turn off filtering to find a game. Yesterday i had to factory reset to get it out of this state. Is there anything else i can do? i have tried flushing DNS, resetting network stack, rebooting PC, closing Game, deleting the device etc. These are not far away servers, these are EU ones, i am UK based. Appreciate if anyone has any experience and input of the same issues
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13 Administrators Share Posted February 13 Is there a specific server you see being blocked each time this happens? If so it might be an authentication server we haven't found that needs to be allowed

Outside of this all other locations are yellow triangles. Apart from 1 location in UK which is a white circle with a tick and one in Brazil

bowthorpe123
I don't know if this is related, but this seems to have been happening since the release of the new Season of Call Of Duty Trying further away servers - which i know is not officially supported but has worked fine - after trying to search for a game, everything disappears from the map entirely
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13 Administrators Share Posted February 13 Difficult to tell with so many icons around but it looks exactly like it should when it's working. As a test could you try downgrading the firmware and see if you get the same issue?

I restarted my main router and the duma and switched ON Geo latency. As soon as I did this, I could connect to any server again. to test I tried NA and then backed out and tried Saudi and then backed out and tried France. Each time was successful. I then tried NA after France and it did the same thing as before, but as I had Geo latency on, it threw me to a French server. I backed out and turned geo latency back OFF, I could then search and join NA servers. i had already tried rebooting the Duma and my PC alone but that had no difference. Could it be trying to get back to servers closer to me I’ve already used due to my IP or something being caused by the other router? I’ve only just started seeing this, so I’m unsure. I’ll see how it goes tomorrow and if it happens again and if this resolves it each time. This may be waffle or useful info. I’ll try again tomorrow and see if it breaks/works and if any of the above changes the outcome
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13 Administrators Share Posted February 13 That's great if Geo-Latency is providing more consistency for you, it is possible sometimes to get a game outside your radius when it is on - when that happens it's the game knowing its putting you on a bad game and does it anyway. Do try the restarting after changing settings with Geo-Latency on and see if that works better. Do keep us posted!
