Hi, when I’m searching for a game on warzone, my ping is starting really high even though I have the geo filter set to my nearest server, I’ve got all the recommended settings turned off and still having this issue

Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  6. Wait 2 minutes
  7. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better.

I believe the issue you're having is caused by the steady ping feature on the R3. If you disable steady ping and restart the game/app it will go back to what you previously had for a ping when searching for a game in Warzone. In my case i get a 30 ms ping when searching for a game with steady ping off vs 45 ms ping when i have it on. That being said i believe thats how the steady ping feature works by slightly raising your ping it's able to absorb jitter/lag spikes which will improve your game play. And explains why your seeing an increase in ping when searching for a match.

Its because you got steady ping enabled?
