Have you factory reset and so the password has changed but you're connecting with the old password?

Iv factory reset twice now and it works OK at first but then all of a sudden everything in the house looses connection. And iv used the same password the r3 shows up but it just keeps saying connecting.

While connected via ethernet, disable WiFi entirely from WiFi settings, reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes, access, enable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if it's more stable from then on.

Didn't work my WiFi has stopped working again so I'm uploading the .23 firmware as I'm having to factory reset my router ever single day.

Has it been a lot more stable since downgrading?

Yeah its been better I'll just have to wait until the next firmware to upgrade. 41 seemed to have played better while gaming though any time frame on a working ping optimizer?

I'm getting similar - since the upgrade to .41 some wifi devices like my blink doorbell wont connect to it - tried splitting to 2.4 and 5ghz but still wont.

Blink have sent me a replacement device as I thought it was that but even the replacement isn't connecting.

Will downgrade to .23 at the moment.

Fraser if you need any logs let me know and I can grab some for you

Try connecting it to the guest WiFi then use you phone on the normal WiFi and see if that works. Pretty sure it's the issue we know about

Any timescale on the next firmware please as this .23 just isn't it the .41 was the gameplay and hit reg felt better on the .41 its just the wifi that was the problem. This .23 isn't very good tbh. The lag spike are horrendous on it hope its sooner rather then later.

Maybe try the above. Generally downgrading firmware you will get a worse experience as it has less experiences. We're not giving out any ETAs on firmware anymore.

Just an update - downgraded to .23.. then upgraded to .41 and factory reset and it's now working.

Will monitor and see how it goes.

Great to hear that, thanks for the update.

Once it's available we'll make it public to those who want to try it before it gets pushed to routers

That sounds very interesting. I got my R3 with the .21 firmware and immediately upgraded to .41. At the moment there are problems that various devices are not reachable if they are on the same frequency. For example, the printer uses the 5 GHz network and the iPad also uses the 5 GHz network. The printer is then not recognised by the iPad. Or the TV use 5 GHz and the iPhone with the Control App use 5 GHZ to. The Controll App is not reaching the TV. When the iPhone switch to 2,4 GHz then all works normal.

@kevwhite
How is it currently working for you after the downgrade and upgrade? Did you have such problems to?

After downgrade / wipe / upgrade I've been fine.

I had those same issues you mention where my blink doorbell stopped connecting too but since my changes it's working.

@kevwhite

Thanks for ur fast response. I will try it. (but first i will try without the Wipe)…

EDIT:

Unfortunately, it seems I wasn't so lucky. But as already announced, I didn't do a factory reset either. Could you please check which network your doorbell is connected to and which network the device you are using to access the doorbell is connected to? Are they both connected to the same network? So 2.4 or 5 GHz? You should be able to see this in the device overview.
