Spazz
But I finally got this thing mostly working. Poor WiFi performance was alleviated by an older router in AP mode. More wires than I’d like but eh. Can’t win em all I suppose. Only thing that’s bugging out on me now is the geofilter. I’m on PC. Previously, all I had to do was change my PC to a game console for the geofilter to work, but it’s not filtering at all. Settings tab on the geofilter page has been left untouched so I have geo-latency on, I’m not using ping assist and I’m in strict mode with fast search disabled. Ping assist set to 40 since my average ping is 30. Also, on the XR1000, my COD searches start at <22ms and I’m usually on a game before it bits 50ms. With the R3, they’re starting at <48ms and usually not in a game til it hits 73ms. A+ bufferbloat on the R3 tho which is nice.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 27 Administrators Share Posted January 27 There is a new firmware I'll allow people to try tomorrow (provided there are no major issues overnight) and while it doesn't specifically have Geo-Filter changes, there are changes that affect the overall stability and should allow you to have a better experience.
