Geofilter not filtering TF2 Mann Vs Machine matches

Hello. Whenever I use Geofilter and join Mann Vs Machine in TF2, the filter shows players being filtered. However, no server icon shows up, and I usually get connected to completely different servers despite Sydney being within my filter. My circle is 1800km and my filter is STEAMDATAGRAMRELAY. I use a Telstra Smart Modem 2nd Gen.

It's almost certainly the service you've added, I've never seen anyone add that. Try this:

1. Quit the application/game/client completely including from the System Tray
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
7. Wait 2 minutes
8. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better.

So I did all that, and it still connects me to non-australian servers, however it blocked a lot more people than last time. Now I don't know if Valve is deliberately bypassing the filter or what, but it's pretty weird.

One thing worth mentioning is that it blocks players while it isn't even searching for servers or way before it says 'join match'.

It looks like everything is being blocked outside your radius there, is it showing icons like the one inside your radius outside when in a game?

Do you see anything blocked on the map when you get that message?

This is what shows when the matchmaking service is broken, I'll get ingame rq
 

(EDIT): The service reconnected, I'll see if it fixed my issue

It appears to work now, as my first server was Australian.

From the screenshots it all looks correct and just for some reason the game is still pinging all those servers. Glad it's working now, keep us posted!

Nope, got lucky with two aussies twice, it doesn't work

Instead of the polygon mode use the radius instead, do you then see more stability?
