CJT
For some reason on the Geo Filter page I am getting something this (1MUNDAN) instead of the location name of the server. Worked fine up until today. Help please! Thanks

rvndo
Has anyone over there at duma os ever considered that Activision has programmers who are actively causing duma os to falter when trying to geofence or stabilize ping? After all, its been shown over and over that if you do well in a game of call of duty the next lobby you get into has a higher ping. Then if you still do well your ping gets higher and jitter seems to increase. I only have two games on my PC, MW3/warzone and fortnite. with fortnite, the geofilter and the ping stabilization graph work as advertised. Maybe just stop saying that you can solve the netcode issues with call of duty and I will thank you for you honesty. Or actually make the router you sold me work as you said it would? Imagine if you bought a new car and you put it in drive and it went backwards? you get ahold of support and they say, "have you tried putting it in reverse to see if it goes forward?" It's nothing to do with that at all. Networking has so many variables, I think there is the thought that you get this router and you'll never lag again which is not the case, you will get a better experience, lower ping and more consistently than without it but there are variable outside the routers control that could affect you. As networking has many variables there can't just be 1 option to enable lag or don't lag, there are many settings and different things will work for different people. rvndo

I really appreciate you bringing up the fact that networking has so many variables. I get that there are many variables outside of my control. I am frustrated and here in this forum because this router that claimed (falsely I might add) that it could deal with some of those variables is not working as it claims it would. I spent 3 hours last night going through the steps that you said to do to get the ping graph to work in the geo filter. After countless resets I saw something in the comments of a youtube video about the R3 (where yet again people were commenting on how it didn't work as advertised) the guy making the video said that if you had gaming prioritized as well as a console or a PC it caused problems. SO, I did yet another reset and resynced the cloud in all the places on the router and tried that and for one game of call of duty, the graph worked. But it wasn't repeatable, it hasn't worked again.
