Arrold
I was logged on to the router at 17:33 GMT and the page started failing to reload, my Internet didn't go down but it did slow by around half to 340Mbps, I was on zoom calls and the family was home etc so couldn't reboot until about 3 hours later, wasn't able to log on at any point during that time, tried from different desktop browsers and phone app, there is a big hole in the logs but I downloaded what was there. 15:55 massive amount of messages in logs then all messages stop. 17:33 lost connection to router. Somewhere around 20:08, turned it off for 5 seconds, when it came back I can log in fine. FW 4.0.23, I think the router had been up for about 3 days, no changes made today but last night I was testing various geo filter settings, all reverted to original settings at around 00:45 though. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16 Administrators Share Posted January 16 Thank you for that, I will pass it onto the team to have a look at - there have been a couple of other reports so the team will be looking into it, it may be fixed already for the next update
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13 Administrators Share Posted February 13 For not being able to access, the team are asking: While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter, does the 192.168.77.1 IP show for the gateway? Are devices receiving the normal 192.168.77.x IP addresses? What lights are lit up on the router? Is it always only a reboot that fixes the issue? Arrold
Since updating to .41 when that came out my router has been pretty much flawless, I've rebooted it once because I seem to struggle to ban some warzone servers but that issue still persists so I think that reboot was pointless. Otherwise it's been running well. You know, speed tests still don't show anything like true download speeds but I think that's common. I run it handling pppoe and DHCP only (& geo filter, steady ping etc). WiFi is turned off, I have a mesh system hanging off of it that handles the WiFi throughout the home. Actual speeds have been good, it runs ping tests fine etc. no complaints right now.
