No the consistency is the same on the valorant ping graph as steady ping off just with a higher ping.

Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing when it's showing that it's stabilizing but you're seeing this inconsistency?

Question really quick do you have to have it added on the geo filter for steady ping to work or as long as you have steady ping on it doesnt need to be one of the 4 devices? No it doesn't but I think it should function that way, right now it applies to any device that is gaming, whether it is added or not. The jitter there is really minimal so that looks fine to me

L0rd
Ping optimizer makes bufferbloat worse. it sets itself too high. when i manually reduce CQ to like 55% DL / 80% UL i get A+ BB scores
Davidt828
I feel that with how low my jitter and ping is to start that the my ping graph in game should literally be a straight line but it seems to have to have the same consistency as having it off. It's hard to say without the graph showing properly but it is only adding a 5ms delay so that's the maximum it's seeing that it is fluctuating and your ping is low anyway so you probably could disable it and not notice the fluctuations much. 44 minutes ago, L0rd said: Ping optimizer makes bufferbloat worse. it sets itself too high. when i manually reduce CQ to like 55% DL / 80% UL i get A+ BB scores It will change what it suggests depending on the time of day etc so may not always provide the best value for a whole day if you see what I mean. I see that it says server tick rate synchronization is that more of a benefit or would you say having the lower ping with steady ping off is more beneficial? Matching the tick rate is definitely beneficial, it's better to be in sync than without it. Play with it both enabled/disabled and see which works best fpr ypi
