Anybody else having trouble finding games with the geo filter on mwIII?

@emma787 Has everything been running smooth with your geo filter? Mine still kinda acts up. One game it’s searching for 50ms then my next it goes up to 170ms in mwIII. Just wondering if it’s happening with you as well

@karmasmessenger It still happens to me from time to time. It also takes awhile for it to even find a game when you are close to your nearest server. Idk if it’s like that in overwatch, but in cod it does

  • Disable GeoLatency
  • Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0)
  • Enable Strict Mode
  • Disable Fast Search

Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.

@emma787 ¿Todo ha ido bien con su filtro geográfico? El mío todavía se porta mal. Un juego busca 50 ms y el siguiente sube a 170 ms en mwIII. Sólo me preguntaba si esto también te está pasando a ti.

Well, if it keeps happening to me, I'll have to wait for an update because I've done everything, it keeps going out of the circle and starts looking for servers outside and far from my location. I'm from Puerto Rico. The servers I used to connect to were those in Miami, which I always played with a ping of 34ms now I play at 80ms or more sometimes it connects to those in Miami and I play at 44ms but it sometimes goes up to more than 100ms for the majority

This is what happens to me, I do everything as they tell me, look at that photo in the game photo, it shows the high ping in the other one, it shows the ping serve that connected is not the same since for the router it is the best for the router, not for my

Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely - including from the System Tray
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (change the picture)
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter in the same way
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better.

@emma787 I’m on the same boat as you. Looks like we’ll have to wait and see what the next update will have. Hopefully it’ll get sorted out. I took a 2 week break from cod and it feels like they up’d the sbmm. Multiplayer is annoying right now
